A small studio with a hot kiln
Kilnwork Studio is a product design and development practice. We take raw ideas — a pitch, a prototype, a spreadsheet of complaints — and fire them into interfaces people enjoy using. Senior people only, four engagements per quarter, no handoffs into the void.
How we work
Design and code at the same table
Most studios hand you Figma files and wave goodbye. We stay through the build — pairing with your engineers, fixing layout bugs in the same file, and cutting whatever doesn't survive contact with real data.
Engagements run 8–14 weeks with a demo every Friday. You always know what exists, what broke, and what's next.

Principles
What we believe
- Glance first, detail one tap below.
- Empty states are the real homepage.
- Motion explains; decoration distracts.
- Ship the boring version, then polish.
Tools I Use
Our daily stack
Five tools run the studio. Figma for interface design, Framer for high-fidelity prototypes, Notion for specs and research libraries, Slack for client comms, and Zapier gluing the boring parts together — invoices, reminders, release notes.
We are tool-agnostic on your side: we deliver files, tokens and code your team already knows how to open.
